The National Counterintelligence and Security Center (NCSC) unveiled the National Counterintelligence Strategy of the United States of America 2020-2022, which features three principal trends that characterize today’s counterintelligence threat landscape:

• The number of threat actors targeting the U.S. is growing.
• These threat actors have increasingly sophisticated intelligence capabilities and technologies at their disposal.
• Threat actors are using these enhanced capabilities against an expanded set of targets and vulnerabilities.

Specifically, the on-demand series covers the following learning objectives:

• Delineate what is driving the demand for technology, tools and information for data protection and recovery.
• Understand how broader cross-agency collaboration, coordination, information sharing, IT integration and elimination of silos is helping agencies keep pace and deliver actionable intelligence.
• Discuss how cloud computing, big data analytics, artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, machine learning, cybersecurity and new cutting-edge technologies are helping the IC fulfill its mission.
• Review IC workforce challenges in the areas of recruiting, retention, diversity and stove-piped processes that provide opportunities for contractors to fill gaps.
